To provide a tab type curtain apparatus to be suspended from an ornamental curtain rail by way of tab tops or tab clips, which curtain does not deteriorate the inherent functionality of a window such as lighting, ventilation, a lookout and the like, even if it is installed on a window short in width and long in vertical length.

A plurality of tab tops or tab clips respectively equipped with elevator cord guides slidably support a plurality of lift cords through the guides, through each of which one end of each lift cord is suspended and retained by the lower edge of the curtain. A lift cord stopper is mounted on the rear surface or cluster hook of the leftmost or rightmost tab top or tab clip, and other ends of the lift cords are suspended together through the stopper in such a way as to be so that the tab type curtain apparatus can be vertically opened or closed by operating the cords.
