PURPOSE: To permit the easy, safe and quick feed, transfer and ejection of works by fixing needle-like posts for supporting materials between tables above endless chains and providing bearing posts highter than the needle-like posts in the stage of feeding the materials.

CONSTITUTION: The positioning and fine adjustment of the feed and ejection of the works 1 are preliminarily executed in the 1st range 13 of the endless chains 3a, 3b, i.e., by operating a lifting mechanism 19 to preliminarily raise universal rotating body 17 groups. The works 1 are fed with the light force by rolling of the body 17 groups after the works are positioned and finely adjusted, the mechanism 19 is operated to lower the body 17 groups. The works 1 are transferred onto needle groups 33 and the chains 3a, 3b are driven. The chains are stopped when flat plate-shaped slats 39 come under the range where the works 1 are to be imposed. Cutting is executed and the table is restored to the original state, then the works 1 are ejected.
