To provide an on-table decoration body capable of enhancing illumination effect by light emission with a simple structure even in a dark place in a wedding reception or a celebration party.

The decoration body is equipped with a translucent transparent body 1 having its top part 4 contracted in diameter relative to the base part 2, a slit 5 curvingly crossing the top part 4 and allowing a card to be fitted therein, a light emitting diode 11 and a battery 12 stored in an inner space 7 of the transparent body 1 and a switch 13. The transparent body 1 is constituted of a dodecagonal prismatic part 3 and is formed into a polygonal shape. The inner space 7 is constituted of a prismatic space 9 both having an octahedral columnar shape in cross section and of a frustum shape space of polygonal pyramid 10. The switch may be an automatic switch corresponding to the fitting of a card to emit an emitting body or an automatic switch corresponding to the decrease in illuminance to emit the emitting body. The decoration body is useful as a stand for a card such as a seat card or the like and as a seat card decoration body.
