Abstract:
To ensure positioning accuracy of a holding table and to suppress a manufacturing cost even in a case where the holding table has a large outer diameter.SOLUTION: A table intermittent drive mechanism comprises: a roller gear index part 31 which converts continuous rotation input to an input shaft into intermittent rotation and outputs it to an output shaft 31b; a holding table which holds cylindrical bodies and is intermittently rotated around a table axis by the output from the output shaft 31b; and a transmission part 33 transmitting the intermittent rotation output from the output shaft 31b to the holding table. The transmission part 33 includes: an annular circular rack which is fixed to the holding table and extends around the table axis; and a roller pinion 33b which is connected to the output shaft 31b and has a plurality of rollers 33h meshing with a plurality of teeth of the circular rack. The transmission part 33 is so configured that the plurality of teeth and the plurality of rollers 33h mesh at plural positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
