Abstract:
To enable free sliding of a top plate of a table with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A table 100 comprises: a top plate 10 formed in a rectangular shape in plan view; a support plate 20 disposed on a rear face side of the top plate 10 and having an area smaller than that of the top plate 10; and a leg part 30 fixed to the support plate 20. On an interface between the top plate 10 and the support plate 20, there is provided a sliding mechanism which allows the top plate 10 and the support plate 20 to slide relatively to each other in a direction in which the top plate 10 is inclined with respect to a pair of parallel two sides forming the rectangular shape of the top plate 10. The sliding mechanism is formed of salients 41 which are T-shaped in cross section, and recesses 46 which are squared U-shaped in cross section and are folded so that an opening part of the squared U-shape has a narrow width. According to the structure, while allowing sliding of the top plate 10 in an oblique direction, the sliding mechanism is simplified, thus improving durability and working properties during assembly or maintenance such as exchange of the top plate 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
