Abstract:
To provide a protective cover in a base using a structure having good assembling properties and high reliability.
The protective cover 19 is mounted between supports 23 and 23, wherein attaching rings 21 and 21 are provided to the blade cover 14 in the base 2 as a rectangular plate body having the attaching rings 21 and 21 on one end side thereof and a slit 22 on the other end side thereof. A connection rod 25 formed to the inner surface of the base 2 is loosely fitted in the slit 22 on a free end side to be connected in a slidable manner not only to provide the protective cover 19 between the blade cover 14 and the inner surface of the base 2 but also to permit the tilting of a saw blade unit 4.
