Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to leave cuttings within a blade case even under the condition that cutting, grooving and the like are performed under the state that the distance between the lower end of a rotary blade and the bottom surface of the case is far away.
SOLUTION: In this table saw, a forward opening is provided in a gear housing as the blow-off port of a motor cooling air. At the same time, a motor side guide member 50 for guiding the cooling air along the surface of a blade case 7 forward is fixed to the gear housing. Further, a case side guide member 7 equipped with a second guide plate, the tip of which overlaps with the first guide plate of this guide member 50, is mounted outside the blade case 7. Then, the cooling air blown-off through the forward opening is run forwards through the rear surfaces of guide plates. Further, air flow, which is guided through the through hole of the blade case 7 in the blade case 7, turned downwards with a covering member in the case and run to a cutting exhaust port 85 along the front wall, the curved part part and the bottom surface of the blade case 7.
