The table storing device 1 stores a table in a storage unit 5 having an open upper surface by being raised substantially vertically from a substantially horizontal state. The table storing device 1 includes: a horizontal member 32 for connecting a vertical member 31 for moving up and down a lifting mechanism of the table while being guided in vertical slide rails 22 which are formed facing each other at both the right and left sides in the storage unit 5; a pinion B provided in the horizontal member 32; and an biasing roller C that moves along the horizontal member 32 and is connected to a biasing member A so that biasing force increases gradually along with the movement. The storage unit 5 includes: a rack for decelerating the movement by being engaged with the pinion B when the lifting mechanism moves; and a guide rail 23 that is connected to the biasing roller C and moves the biasing roller C in a direction for increasing the biasing force.
