A table tap includes AC outlets 3, 3a, 3b, 3c for AC output from a commercial power supply, DC input jacks 5, 5a, 5b, 5c to which the DC output plugs of AC adapters are connected, the AC adapters having AC plugs to be connected to the AC outlets 3, 3a, 3b, 3c, and DC output jacks 8, 8a, 8b, 8c to which the DC input plugs of equipment are connected via the DC input jacks 5, 5a, 5b, 5c for DC output from the AC adapter. DC currents flowing from the DC input jacks 5, 5a, 5b, 5c to the DC output jacks 8, 8a, 8b, 8c are individually detected by current detecting parts 6, 6a, 6b, 6c. In accordance with the detection results, a DC output control part 7 controls DC power to be output to the DC output jacks 8, 8a, 8b, 8c and a relay control circuit part 4 uses relay circuits 9a, 9b, 9c for controlling AC supply and interruption to/from the AC output outlets 3a, 3b, 3c.
