To provide a table-type inactivation device for viruses or the like that inactivates viruses by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The table-type inactivation device 1 for viruses or the like comprises: a top plate 3 having openings K, K1, K2, K3 and K4; an air passage forming body 6 which is provided for a rear face of the top plate 3, and has a first opening part P which introduces air from the openings K, K1, K2, K3 and K4, and a second opening part Q which allows air introduced from the first opening part P to flow and discharges the air to the outside; an air flowing device 7 which introduces air from the first opening part P, and discharges air from the second opening part Q; and an ultraviolet ray irradiation source 9 which is provided between the first opening part P and the second opening part Q, and irradiates air in the air passage forming body 6 with ultraviolet rays.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
