Gap preventing member 4 for preventing a gap from being generated between the edge part 3a of one modesty panel 3 and the edge part 3b of another modesty panel 3 when the edge part 2a of the top board 2 of one table A1 is butted to the edge part 2b of another table A2 approximately under a close condition, are provided and these gap preventing members 4 are elastically deformable elastic bodies being projected from the edge parts 3a and 3b of the modesty panels 3 toward the edge parts 3b and 3a of the opposing modesty panels 3 and they are preferentially butted each other before the edge parts 2a and 2b of the top boards 2 are butted each other and are elastically deformed approximately corresponding to the shape of the gap at the position where the edge parts 2a and 2b of the top boards 2 are butted approximately under a close condition.
