Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make effective assembling works at a narrow space by fastening supporting members of legs fitted at the underface of a connection part of a plurality of top plates, from the upper position by connecting bolts provided above the connection part.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of center top plates 1 and corner top plates 2 are connected to constitute a required form of table T. Rectangular recessions are formed at both upper and under faces of the connection parts 14 of top plates. A supporting member 9 for a leg 4 is engaged with the leg 4 in the recession of the under side. And a channel member 15 composed of a bottom plate 15b and a side plate 15c are made to abut on the recession of the upper side. Bolts 12 are inserted into the holes of bottom plates 15b to screw together in the supporting member 9. Next, a cover 17 is placed on the upper recession. In this way, assembling and disassembling can easily be done from the upper side without reversing even in a narrow space.
