Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rotation control method which is superior in practicality and reliability by periodically increasing and decreasing the frequency of a driving pulse signal outputted to a stepping motor and repeating rotating speed control at specific intervals of time.
CONSTITUTION: A timer 30 outputs speed reduction control pulses of low level only for a certain time at specific intervals of time. The control pulses are inputted to the control terminal of a pulse generating circuit 31. This pulse generating circuit 31 has its switch operated by a 3-input AND circuit when one of an acquisition control terminal and two control terminal goes down to low level, and supplies the speed reduction pulses to the stepping motor 3 at the time. When the speed reduction control pulses of low level are inputted to the control terminal of the pulse generating circuit 31, the stepping motor 3 is switched to speed reduced operation to decrease its rotating speed. In this case, the motor is placed in the speed-reduced operation periodically only for a short time, but increased in speed again without stopping to enter the high- speed rotating state.
