To provide an effective technology so as to enhance workability in work for cutting a long workpiece material in a table saw mode, in terms of a tabletop circular saw with an upper table.

This tabletop circular saw with the upper table is equipped with a base 103 having the table 127 on which the workpiece material 127 can be placed, and a circular saw body 101 which is brought into continuous contact with the base in a vertically oscillatable manner, between a first position to get close to the base and a second position to be separated from the base. The circular saw body comprises: the upper table 113 on which the workpiece material can be placed; and a blade 107 which allows the operation of cutting the workpiece material, placed on the table, through the use of a lower edge by the movement of the circular saw body to the second position of the circular saw to the first position thereof, and which allows the operation of cutting the workpiece material, placed on the upper table, through the use of an upper edge protruded by a predetermined amount from the upper table. The base 103 is provided with an auxiliary table 141 on which the workpiece material can be placed in cooperation with the upper table, in the operation of cutting the workpiece material by using the upper edge of the blade.
