Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tabletop cutting tool performing a cutting process by vertically moving a cutting tool body with respect to a material to be cut placed on the table, including a positioning fence for positioning the material to be cut on a table in a table face direction, and improve the usability of a tabletop cutting tool by locating a positioning face at a range extremely near to a rotary cutter and retracting the positioning face significantly in a case of an oblique cutting.SOLUTION: A tabletop cutting tool comprises a base part 53 unmovably fixed to the upper part of a table, a second movable fence 52 slidable from side to side, and a first movable fence 51 vertically turnably supported by the second movable fence 52. The cutting tool is configured to select any of a state of upwardly turning and retracting only the first movable fence 51 and a state of retracting both the first and second movable fences 51 an 52.
