PURPOSE: To simplify a replacing work by taking out and putting in a rack guide plate to correspond to the replacing work in the case of changing a direction of in-out handling a rack.

CONSTITUTION: When a washing machine is used as a straight type, by inserting a rack guide plate 12 into a receiving part 14, formed in an outer side surface 10B of a plane rail 10 parallel to a guide rail 8, as shown by an arrow mark A, a guide surface 8B of the guide rail 8 is placed in parallel to the rack guide plate 12, and a rack 6 can be carried in and out in a straight direction. On the other hand, when the washing machine is used as a corner type, by inserting the rack guide plate 12 into a receiving part 13, formed on the outer side surface 9b of a plane rail 9 adjacent to the guide rail 8, as shown by an arrow mark B, the guide surface 8B of the guide rail 8 and the rack guide plate 12 are placed in a right angle relation, and the rack 6 can be carried in and out in a right angle direction.
