PURPOSE: To dry washed tableware in a storing chamber capable of containing tableware, by a method wherein, the tableware storing chamber provided with a heat exchanger at the bottom of the tableware storing chamber, being the main body of the tableware washing machine, communicates with said heat exchanger of the storing chamber, while the air heated by the exhaust heat of the washing machine is introduced into the heat exchanger through a communication path.
CONSTITUTION: For washing tableware, firstly, a fixed amount of washing water is stored in a washing tank and is heated by a heater 2. The water thus heated is supplied to a nozzle arm 3 by a pump 7, and the heated water is injected against the tableware 5 jetted from 3a of a nozzle arm 3, thus performing the tableware washing. When the washing is finished, the washing water is drained from the tank 1 by an exhaust pump 10. After that, in the same manner as the time of washing, the water for rinsing is stored in the tank, jetted out for rinsing followed by performing rinsing. After this operation, the water, finishing rinsing, is drained out of the tank 1, the air inside the tank 1 is heated by a heater 2, together with the starting action of the rotation of a blower motor 13, and the heated air circulates around inside the tank 1, thereby drying the wetted tableware contained in the tank 1.
