PURPOSE: To increase and efficiently wash tableware received in a washing machine by constituting a lower cage for receiving the tableware such that the bottom is inclined stepwise, or partially or as a whole.
CONSTITUTION: Different sized dishes 16-16b are inclined and sequentially in parallel received in a lower cage 10 having the bottom formed step-wise, and bowls 17, cups 18, etc., are received in an upper cage 15 within a washing tank 1. A circulating pump 5 is driven and pressurized washing water 4 is supplied through a discharging pipe 7 to a lower nozzle 8 which is rotated horizontally while jetting the washing water 4 to wash the dishes 16-16b. On the other hand, a portion of the washing water 4 in the discharging pipe 7 its supplied to un upper nozzle 13 which is rotated while jetting the washing water 4 from a jet 14 to wash out stains from the bowls 17, cups 18, etc., in the upper cage 15. Since different sized dishes 16, 16a, 16b are received in the lower cage 10 with the upper ends being arranged at nearly equal height the water jetted from a jet 9 of the nozzle 8 strikes directly the stained surface of the dish to improve the efficiency of washing.
