PURPOSE: To obtain the subject tape foldable in longitudinal direction toward the tacky adhesive side and having high workability by applying a tacky adhesive layer to a surface of a flexible plastic base and forming a continuous groove near the middle part of the back surface of the obtained tacky adhesive tape.
CONSTITUTION: A tacky-adhesive layer is applied to a surface of a flexible plastic base 1 to obtain a tacky adhesive tape. A continuous groove 2 (a slit which does not reach the inner face of the base) is formed near the middle part of the back face (outer face) of the base to make the tape to be foldable in longitudinal direction toward the tacky adhesive side (inward). The plastic base is made of a soft material such as polyethylene and polypropylene and the tacky adhesive agent 3 is preferably a non-staining removable tacky adhesive agent.
