This tag detection device 1 is provided with a tag detection sensor 7 detecting the presence of a tag on a barrel 3 for drink, a holding part 9 holding the sensor 7, and a rotating driving means 11 rotating the holding part 9. The holding part 9 rotates around the barrel 3 and the tag detection sensor 7 detects the presence of a tag 5. The inspection machine 50 for different types of barrels is provided with a conveying path 51 conveying the barrel 3 to a filling part of drink, and the tag detection device 1 provided on the conveying path 51. A barrel ejecting part 27 for ejecting the barrel 3 to the outside of the conveying path 51 is provided on the downstream side of the detection device 1, and the ejecting part 27 ejects the barrel 3 to the outside of the path 51 according to detection signals of the detection sensor 7.
