Title:
TAG DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3150575
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a durability and reliability by electrically coupling an antenna and an integrated circuit with each other by capacitors formed of antenna terminals and electrode plates.
SOLUTION: A radio wave generates an AC electromotive force between antenna terminals 6a and 7a of the tag device. This electromotive force is applied across a fly-wheel inductor 14 through electrode plates 3 and 2. Then it is rectified by a diode 13 and the voltage after the rectification is smoothed by a smoothing capacitor 15. Consequently, a (+) and a (-) DC voltage are developed at terminals 16 and 17. A response circuit 10 which is applied with the DC voltages operates to demodulated and analyze a received signal, and stored information is transmitted from the antenna through a coupling capacitor 12 and the capacitor composed of the electrode plate 3 and antenna element 7a. Thus, the antenna and integrated circuit 1 are electrically coupled with each other by the capacitors composed of the antenna terminals 6a and 7a and electrode plates 2 and 3, and a fault due to a defect in connection can be eliminated.
