Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tail plug which does not leak ink between a barrel mounted with the plug and an engaging part freely separate from an ink storage material and does not embed the inner cotton of the storage material in the plug due to external impact force or atmospheric pressure change.
SOLUTION: A ventilating slot 7 nonlinearly communicating from a vent hole 6 communicating with an air flow passage 4 as one end to a rear end opening 7a by one stripe slot is provided on the outer periphery of the tail plug 1. The contact area of the contact surface 3 with the inner cotton of an ink storage material is set larger than the opening area of the passage 4. An annular protrusion 9 having larger diameter than the outer periphery is provided at the position of the cutout groove side separate from the hole 6 of the outer periphery.
