Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tail wheel supporting device capable of simplifying the structure, increasing the righting property of the tail wheel in straight advancing direction thereof and improving the straight advancing stability and working efficiency of the working machine by installing an energizing member for energizing the tail wheel with a spring in the straight advancing direction thereof between a supporting member and mounting stay. SOLUTION: This tail wheel unit 4 is constituted by installing a mounting stay 18 to which a tail wheel 17 is pivoted as freely rotatable, to a supporting member 16 supported at the rear part of the machine body as freely liftable up and down, as freely capable of turning in left and right directions, and also a energizing member 28 for energizing the tail wheel 17 with a spring in the straight advancing direction thereof. Further, the energizing member 28 is a coil spring installed between the supporting member 16 and the mounting stay 18, and the coil spring supports the mounting stay 18 to the supporting member 16 and also energizing the tail wheel 17 with the spring in the straight advancing direction thereof.
