The device is for taking up at least one continuous linear item from a plurality of rotating shafts disposed in parallel along the same axis radially to a circular or polygonal take-up frame having a plurality of hands in a specific winding number. It is at least provided with the plurality of take-up frames provided with a drive, which are rotatable separately, and also rotatable synchronously with the other take-up frame, a traverse mechanism provided with a drive means, of which traverse part is displaceable at least to the take-up direction, the parallel direction of the take-up frames, and the vertical direction of the take-up frames, and a transfer yarn cutting mechanism laterally provided between the take-up frames to cut the linear item while rotating.
