PURPOSE: To enable a quantitative flow image to be generated by generating a series of continuous echo generating magnetic resonance sequence groups linked to a subject's cardiac cycle, and selecting received echo signals by groups corresponding to different time intervals of the cardiac cycle.
CONSTITUTION: On an imaging device in which k spaces of positive and negative parts are respectively sectioned into n segments, first segments of both positive and negative have views of the frequency components in the highest orders and following segments have views of lower orders in order, a heart monitor 34 to monitor the cardiac cycle is equipped. A controller 30 to generate a series of groups of continuous echo generating sequence linking to the heart cycle and to receive corresponding signals is equipped. Echo signals are selected by groups so that groups are made to correspond to time intervals with different heart cycles and to reconstruct the frame image expression from echo signals from each group by an image reconstructing means.
