PURPOSE: To provide a calendar capable of performing the notification corresponding to the quantity of two or more months - one year when a notifying space is large and capable of also performing the notification corresponding to the quantity only of one month when a notifying space is small and capable of retroactively looking elapsed months and days.

CONSTITUTION: Outer cylinders 2 having a C-shaped cross section wherein openings 22 are formed to the side parts of cylindrical bodies 21, bearing parts 32, 32 having a diameter almost same to the inner diameter of the outer cylinders 2 attached to the intermediate parts of round rods 31 and positioning members 33, 33 having a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the outer cylinders 2 are provided and the bearing parts are arranged in the vicinity of both ends in the outer cylinders. Taking-up jigs 1 consisting of the positioning members 33, 33 and core rods 3 to which the positioning members are arranged so as to hold the both ends of the outer cylinders 2 from the outside are opposedly arranged so that the openings 22 are almost opposed to each other. The respective end parts of wound paper 4 having a calendar printed thereon are fixed to both core rods 3, 3 through both openings 22 and the wound paper 4 is made free to take up by both core rods 3, 3.
