PURPOSE: To make the number of versions of the software correspondent to the revision number of a ROM by storing a data element (address table, voice data) and a control program into an exclusive ROM respectively.

CONSTITUTION: The talkie trunk is provided with a 1st storage means ROMA including a voice data area stored with a voice data and an address table storing an address of the voice data area and a 2nd storage means stored with a control program. Moreover, a control means 2 reading out an address of the voice data of a voice message sent from the 1st storage means ROMA under the control of a control program of the 2nd storage means ROMB upon the receipt of voice selection information designating the voice data and a data transfer means 4 receiving the address of the voice data from the control means 2 and reading the voice data from the 1st storage means ROMA are provided. Thus, the data element of the software and the control program are stored respectively in an exclusive ROM so as to make the revision of the software correspondent to the revision of the ROM as the hardware.
