PURPOSE: To record a talking between a caller subscriber and a called subscriber networkwide independently of a caller telephone set.

CONSTITUTION: A caller telephone exchange station 2 receives a special number predetermined for a talking voice recording service call entered from a caller subscriber 1, a caller subscriber ID number allocated to each subscriber, and a called subscriber number. The caller telephone exchange station 2 sends the called subscriber number to a called telephone exchange station 6 to allow the station 6 to catch the called subscriber 5 thereby connecting a channel with the caller subscriber 1 via a talking monitor trunk 3 and connecting the caller subscriber 1 to a speech voice recording device 4 via the speech monitor trunk 3. The caller side telephone exchange station 2 allows the speech voice recording device 4 to record a talking between the two parties corresponding to the caller subscriber ID number.
