To provide a tamper-evident hinge cap which prevents a false seal-opening preventive piece from dropping when an upper lid is opened, but makes it engaged with a container, and preferably reduces seal opening force for the upper lid.
This hinge cap is constituted in such a manner that a false seal-opening preventive piece 3 is arranged at the skirt wall 23 of an upper lid 2 through a weakening part 24, a cap body 1 is provided with a sliding rail 11 fitted to the false seal-opening preventive piece 3 and engaged with a neck ring of a container. In addition, when a distance in which the upper lid 2 keeps on moving to the cap body 1 until the false seal-opening preventive piece 3 is separated from the upper lid 2 after a finger engagement piece 25 is pushed up is defined as La, and a distance in which the upper lid 2 keeps on moving to the cap body 1 until a cap protrusion 12 partially releases its engagement with an upper lid protrusion 22 is defined as Lb, the distances have a relation of LaLb.
