Abstract:
To reduce pulsations in a tandem vane pump equipped with a pair of pump mechanisms P1, P2.
In a composition of a tandem vane pump, a pair of pump mechanisms P1, P2 formed by assembling cam rings 4, 5 in bodies 1, 2 and incorporating in each of the cam rings 4, 5 the rotors 10, 11 to which a plurality of vanes 8, 9 are retractively provided, are driven with the same driving shaft 12. The numbers of both pump mechanisms P1, P2 are made different. One example is that the number of vane in one pump mechanism P1 are taken as 12 and that in the other pump mechanism P2 are taken as 10.
