Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve balance of axial load distribution for preventing damages or cracks in the front part of a tank at the time of a falling accident by providing a stay part integrally with the closed front side of a tank, and forming this to have the same cross sectional surface as the tank, and have a front-side closed hollow structure.
CONSTITUTION: A trailer type tank lorry loads load A of various sorts of oil or other liquid inside a tank 1 of a trailer 2 to be carried, and the tank 1 is provided with facilities for loading such as a manhole and a bottom valve. On the closed front side of this tank 1, a stay part 15 having the same cross sectional surface as the tank 1, and of a front-side closed hollow structure is positioned on a king pin or a coupler connecting a tractor and the trailer 2 to each other. By providing this stay part 15, nonconformity relating to strength is not generated even when a front part of the tank 1 of the trailer 2 is positioned considerably backward.
