Abstract:

To provide a tap density measuring method and a tap density measuring device of powder, having excellent reproducibility of a measured value, though being simple, and capable of acquiring a measured value similar to a conventional tap density.

Powder, a measuring object, is filled into a prescribed holder 40 to form a powder layer, and a prescribed pressure is applied onto the powder layer by using a pressing means 20. Then, the height of the powder layer is measured, and the tap density of the powder which is the measuring object is determined from a measured value of the height of the powder layer and the weight of the filled powder.
