PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress local overheat in a contact part.SOLUTION: Input connection points 118a, 118b in a plurality of fixed contact connection members 111a, 111b and a plurality of input conductors 108a, 108b in terminal-side tap switching mechanism groups 100a, 100b positioned in an end portion of a rotary shaft 11 among a plurality of tap switching mechanism groups are positioned closer to a center 3 of all the plurality of tap switching mechanism groups than centers 2a, 2b of the terminal-side tap switching mechanism groups 100a, 100b in an axial direction 1 of the rotary shaft 11. Output connection points 109a, 109b of stator connection members 151a, 151b and output conductors 119a, 119b in the terminal-side tap switching mechanism groups 100a, 100b are positioned closer to the center 3 of all the plurality of tap switching mechanism groups than the centers 2a, 2b of the terminal-side tap switching mechanism groups 100a, 100b.
