Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the life of a tap switching device using a mechanical relay is short, and the tap switching device is vulnerable to vibration and mechanical shock.SOLUTION: The tap switching device comprises: a motor 11 for tap switching that rotates in a first direction when AC power is supplied to a first terminal and rotates in a second direction when the power is supplied to a second terminal; a rectification circuit 14 for outputting a first command signal when rotating the motor 11 in the first direction; a rectification circuit 15 for outputting a second command signal when rotating the motor 11 in the second direction; a switching circuit 12, constituted using a semiconductor element, for controlling the supply of single-phase AC power to the first terminal in accordance with the first command signal; and a switching circuit 13, constituted using a semiconductor element, for controlling the supply of single-phase AC power to the second terminal in accordance with the second command signal. Due to the fact that the switching circuits 12, 13 are constituted by a semiconductor element, it is possible to extend the life longer than for the case where a mechanical relay is used, and intensity resistance to vibration and mechanical shock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
