Title:
TAP WINDING FOR STATIC INDUCTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS562614
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the insulating structure of the lower end side of a tap winding to enhance the cooling efficiency of the winding and easily fabricate and mount members in the static induction device by disposing the lead of the tap winding only to the upper side of the winding and increasing the radial thickness size.

CONSTITUTION: The tap winding is divided into first and second divided windings in such a manner that the winding I including divided windings w11Ww14 and the winding II including divided windings w21, w21Ww24 concentrically wound with the winding II as inside. In order to obtain the tap voltages, the windings w11, w21,... w14, w24 via connectors L1WL4 at the lower end sides of the respective windings in series. Simultaneously, the upper end of the winding W11, the connecting point between w21 and w12, connecting point between w22 and w13, connecting point between w23 and w24, and tap lead wires l1, l5 from the upper ends of the w24. In this manner the tap winding is thus divided into two layers and wound to increase the thickness size radially of the winding. Since the lead wire is not introduced from the lower end, the insulating structure of this part can be simplified.
