PURPOSE:To provide a tape, band or linear material excellent in mechanical properties and heat resistance, degradable with time in the air, soil, water, etc., consisting of a polymer with its main chain made up of specific recurring unit. CONSTITUTION:The objective material consisting of a polymer with its main chain virtually made up of recurring unit of formula I (R<1>-R<6> are each H or lower alkyl) (pref. of formula II-V).
