The tape bundling machine comprises transfer units 51 and 52, which grasp the upper part B3 of the bag B into a squeezed neck shape at a squeezing position, a transfer driving mechanism, which transfers the units 51 and 52 from the squeezing position to a tape winding position, and a tape winding unit, which is arranged at a tape winding position and winds a tape around the neck of the bag B. Each of the transfer units 51 and 52 comprises an upstream side transfer mechanism 52U, which receives the bag B at the squeezing position and transfers it to a transit position, and a downstream side transfer mechanism 51L, which receives the bag B from the upstream side transfer mechanism 52U at the transit position and transfers the bag B to the tape winding position. The upstream side transfer mechanism 52U consists of a pair of arm members 76U and 76L that grasp the neck of the bag B, and the downstream side transfer mechanism 51L consists of each pair of upper arm members 87U and 87L and of lower arm members 87U and 87L, which grasp the upper and lower parts of the neck of the bag B, respectively.
