PURPOSE: To provide a structure for taking out a tape cassette easily in a tape cassette lid body device which can be opened and closed freely for a tape recorder main body and can rotate with a holder for storing the tape cassette.
CONSTITUTION: The title device is provided with a lid body 3 which is shorter than front and rear dimensions of a tape cassette T, a slider 18 which can slide freely along a guide plate 16 which is mounted on the lid main body 3, and a lid sub-body 4 which is mounted on the lid main body 3 by the slider 18 so that it can slide and covers the tape cassette T while it projects from the tip of the lid main body 3 when closing the lid. Then, the lid sub-body 4 is slid being linked to the lid-opening operation of the lid main body 3 when opening the lid for overlapping on the lid main body 3, one part Ta of the tape cassette T projects from the tip of the lid main body 3 while the lid is opened, and the tape cassette T can be taken out easily by gripping a projecting part Ta.
