TAPE CASSETTE AND SPACER FOR TAPE CASSETTE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3945076
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette and spacers having an extremely low possibility of sticking a tape to be printed to a spacer thereon, or a capability of permitting the tape to be easily released even in the case an adhesive is extruded from the edge end of the tape to be printed onto the spacers, and capable of producing a tape with characters of good appearance while the tape to be printed is transferred properly without unevenness of tape transfer generated by fluctuation of the paying-out resistance.
SOLUTION: A receptor tape 14 is wound around a tape spool 17. Spacers 30 are respectively brought into contact with the upper and lower end edges of the receptor tape 14. A plurality of punched openings 30a having fan-like shape are formed at the given intervals on the spacers 30 to prevent the upper and lower end edges of the receptor tape 14 from sticking to the spacers 30.
