Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a tape cartridge capable of finding out the amount of the taken up tape by means of changing the color of specified parts on the surface of the cartridge in accordance with the presence of the tape wound on tape reels.
CONSTITUTION: A color changing part 30, the color of which is changed in accordance with the background, is arranged on at least one part of a tape cartridge casing 10, where a part of the tape wound on the tape reels is visible through. The original reflecting color of the color changing part 30 is observed on the parts A where the background has absorbance. Meanwhile, the color changing part 30 is looked as almost transparent and colorless on the parts B where the background is reflective. Thus, the amount of taken up tape is found out.
