Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling and to protect the tape from dust by butting upper and lower halves provided with partitions, after stretching and temporarily fixing a tension spring on a cap body and the upper case half. CONSTITUTION:When a tape cassette 1 is assembled, a fulcrum shaft 27 of front surface cap 23 is fitted to a chamfer 32a of the upper case half 8. Next, a hook 37a of the tension spring 37 is fitted to a spring rack pin 35 protruded downward from the upper case half 8 and a spring rack protrusion 28 of the front surface cap 23, then the half 8 and the cap 23 are temporarily fixed. By butting the upper and lower halves 8, 3 each other, from this state, the support of fulcrum shaft 27 and temporary fixing of tension spring 37 are completed. Consequently, the assembling procedure can be very easily performed by performing three processes in order. Since the space 13 arranged with a tape reel and the space arranged with the fulcrum shaft 27, etc., are partitioned by the partitions 38, 39, the tape can be protected from dust.
