Abstract:
To safely cut off only a tip end side part of a carrier tape in a component supply tape.SOLUTION: A tape cutter includes a tape presser member 24 that is equipped with a tape presser surface 24b contacted with a cover tape 104, blades 30 and 32 that are equipped with blade edges 30a and 32a opposing to the tape presser surface 24b, a blade supporting member 22 that supports the blades 30 and 32 and moves toward the tape presser surface member 24 in an opposing direction of the tape presser surface 24b and the blade edges 30a and 32a, and a cover member 26 that is provided so as to move in the opposing direction with respect to the blade supporting member 22, and overlaps with the blade edges 30a and 32a in an orthogonal direction view with respect to the opposing direction while at least partially surrounding the blade edges 30a and 32a in an orthogonal direction view. When the cover member 26 contacts with the tape presser member 24 during the moving of the blade supporting member 22, the cover member 26 relatively moves with respect to the blade supporting member 22, and the blade edges 30a and 32a project out from the cover member 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10B
