To provide a tape cutting mechanism capable of reliably cutting even a tape having high extensibility and a thick tape, and reliably winding the tape around an object to be bundled such as electric wires.
The tape cutting mechanism 21 is equipped with a rotary drum 6 having a cutout part 8 for passing the object 33 to be bundled together with a tape 17, a blade part 18a arranged close to an outer periphery of the rotary drum, and an arc-shaped cutting band 7 turning around the outer periphery of the rotary drum toward the blade part, and the tape is sheared by the cutting band and the blade part. A blade part 18a is formed on an annular band 18 having a cutout opening 26 communicated with the cutout part 8. The blade part 18a is turned toward the cutting band 7. A locking means 34 is provided, which holds and fixes the tape 17 close to the rotary drum 6, and the tape is sheared in a fixed state. An elastic member 38 for pressing and fixing the tape 17 along an outer surface of the cutting band 7 to an outer surface is provided on the blade part 18a side.
