PURPOSE: To make removable plural tape cassettes different in tape width and align and convey the tapes properly.

CONSTITUTION: The surface of a tape feed roller 62 provided at a tape printing device is formed by two pressing parts 90, 92 separated from each other. In the case of setting a narrow tape cassette 10A, the collar part 35a of its tape driving roller 34a and a part of lower cover case go between the pressing part 90 and the pressing part 92, and the pressing part 90 go between the collar part 35a and the collar part 35a, by which the tape feed roller 62 and the tape driving roller 34a can be brought into pressure contact without being affected by the collar part 35a. In the case of setting a wide tape cassette, both of the pressing parts 90, 92 go between the collar part and the collar part of its tape driving roller, by which the tape feed roller 62 and the tape driving roller can be brought into pressure contact.
