To prevent reverse-movement of a tape in a binding apparatus for horticulture.
A rib 6c is formed on the ceiling face of a tape guide 6 fitted on a driver handle 2 of the horticulture tying and binding apparatus, and two plate springs 24a, 24b are mounted on the bottom plate part thereof. The plate spring 24a located downstream side is put resiliently in contact with the rib 6c so that a tape T can be sandwiched by the plate spring 24a and the rib 6c, and the plate spring 24b located upstream side is placed in contact with the tape. If the tape roll is reversed and the tape is pulled back, a tension is applied on the portion of the tape between the rib 6c and the tape roll, and the plate spring 24b located upstream side is pulled up by means of the friction of the tape, thus the path of the tape is bent, resulting in increase in the tape's frictional resistance, thereby the reverse-movement of the tape T is prevented.
