Abstract:
To provide a tape for hemming which is caused to strongly adhere to outer garments such as slacks, skirts and the like.
A coating layer 2 is formed on one surface of a tape main body 1 consisting of a woven structure using tricot yarn and a low temperature melting hot melt type adhesive layer 3 is formed on the whole surface of the coating layer 2. The tape main body 1 is subjected to ironing to melt the adhesive, which causes the tape main body 1 to bond extendingly to a folded piece of a hem and the main part of an outer garment thereby to fix the end of the folded piece.
