PURPOSE: To obtain text data by copying an input indication message being displayed on a display in an input area at the time of preparing a routine format label.
CONSTITUTION: When a required routine format label name is selected and determined after depressing a routine label preparing key, an input indication message, e.g. 'recording time', is displayed on the upper stage of the display and a text data input column is displayed on the lower stage. When a conversion key is depressed (S48: Yes) in order to input the input irradication message to the text data input column, the ROM address pointer of the displayed input indication message data is retrieved, input indication message data pointed out by the obtained address pointer are read out and stored in a data input position of a text memory and the 'recording time' e.g. is displayed in the text data input column.
