Abstract:
To provide tape for a linear motion guide device that can suppress damage and the like to a side seal or an upper surface cover even when a slider moves to a fitting part from a non-fitting part of the upper surface cover in a guide rail, and to provide a method for installing an upper surface cover.SOLUTION: A linear motion guide device includes: a guide rail; a slider disposed so as to move relatively in an axial direction relative to the guide rail; a side seal including a seal lip that is fitted to an end of the slider in a movement direction and abutting on an upper surface of the guide rail; and an upper surface cover installed on the guide rail. Tape can be disposed while straddling between the guide rail and the upper surface cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
