Title:
TAPE NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS586508
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the size of a tape recorder small entirely, by using a time constant circuit commonly at recording and reproduction.

CONSTITUTION: A recording or reproducing signal is given to an impedance division circuit 4 via switch amplifiers 1 and 2. The circuit 4 has a series connection of a resistor R1 inserted equivalently in series with a signal line, a coil L1 inserted in parallel, a capacitor C1 and a resistor R2, in which noise reduction at ≥8kHz at reproduction is performed and a deemphasis function restoring the reduction at reproduction is provided. Thus, the deterioration in frequency characteristics of a tape is removed and mistracking for intermediate signal modulation due to saturated high frequency signals can be prevented.
