PURPOSE: To make it possible to use a tape player for accompaniment play and music by adding an adapter to the 8-track player to switch the circuit.

CONSTITUTION: The tape player is constituted by 8-track tape player 1, adapter 10 for player 1 used an original player, and adapter 11 for accompaniment play. Now, when connection part 12 of adapter 11 for accompaniment play is connected to connector 9 in stead of adapter 10 and switch 16 is as shown in the figure, accompaniment play is set, and plunger 6 to move the head of player 1 vertically is opened, and reproducing is started by turning on start switch 8. Meanwhile, in case that selector switch 16 is switched, the circuit is switched, and the tape player functions as the original player. Thus, adapter 11 for accompaniment play is used in stead of adapter 10, so that the tape player can be used for accompaniment play and music.
